Well, it all started when an old friend recommended Death Note to me. I was hesitant at first, but boy am I glad I gave it a shot. I was so hooked that I finished the entire series in just seven days! (Sumimasen Anime fans) I watched Death Note in English, and I loved it nonetheless. And that's when I realized that anime is not just some silly cartoon, it's a whole new world waiting to be explored.
Then came Naruto, and let me tell you, it was a whole different level of addiction. I would watch it everywhere - in class, in the library, even when I should have been studying for exams! And when it was over, I felt like a part of me was missing. Naruto impressed me and left a remarkable impression on me. The storyline, twists, character development, soundtracks, and the villains created a benchmark. Never have I ever fallen for the villains and their ideology before. I would ask everyone to watch it and talk about it with others who have watched it (Oh! The happiness I obtain after the anime talk is just unmatchable). I would call myself a weeb. How funny! Little did I know of the OG ones who have finished Naruto in less than 15 days and have watched plenty of other anime series.
I didn't watch any other anime until the pandemic because I thought that no other anime could have a storyline as insane as Naruto. Yet again, I was proved wrong. It was during the pandemic that I was recommended to watch Attack on Titan. And good lord, I finished it in just four days. What kept me going was my thirst for answers. I didn't need sleep, I just needed answers! Hats off to the creator of Attack on Titan. How did he come up with a story like this? Well, that remains a mystery to me, as the motto of Ymir Fritz. I have never put as much effort into studying as I did to understand the story of AOT. Nevertheless, it's a masterpiece. Henceforth, my journey of watching many more Anime series started, which I don't wish to bring to an end.
